OUR CONTRIBUTION

FOSTER SUSTAINABLE GROWTH OF THE AMAZON REGION

We work collaboratively to design financial solutions and provide technical support to public and private development projects tailored to the unique characteristics of the Amazonia.
Our efforts are geared towards scaling up businesses and initiatives that can demonstrate social, environmental, and economic sustainability.
By fostering inclusive productive activities, the coalition strives to promote the preservation and recovery of the Amazonia’s natural resources, while simultaneously reducing social and regional inequalities.
The overarching mission is to enable a future where the integration of sustainable economic activities safeguards the health of the Amazon biome, ensuring it continues to thrive for generations to come.

Resource Mobilization and Technical Assistance

WE ASPIRE TO MOBILIZE RESOURCES IN THE RANGE $10 TO $20 BILLION BY 2030

Such resources will be channeled to sustainable projects in the Amazon through public development banks, leveraging their capillarity in the region. Multilateral development banks and other international partners will serve as key facilitators of this process.

WE PLAN TO GRANT TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE TO STRENGTHEN CAPACITY AND ELEVATE STANDARDS

The public development banks in the Green Coalition will strengthen their frameworks for sustainable investments in the Amazon region, develop new financial and technical solutions and contribute to fostering a pipeline of sustainable projects.
